Melbourne Dual Location Trade Fair Sucess

“The August 2006, Melbourne Gift and Homewares Trade Fair, held jointly at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, Southbank and the Graham Centre, just 3 kilometres away, has been a great success according to the GHA. The Gift & Homewares Association (GHA) has annouced that although visitor numbers were similar to last years event that their members have reported excellent sales results. Some members have reported as much as a 30% increase in wholesale orders taken during the fair. With a shuttle bus operating on a constant loop between The Graham Centre and the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, retailers were treated to a wealth of wholesalers, importers and manufacturers exhibiting their goods. Exhibitors included many many new exhibitors due to the larger floor space availability. With cloakrooms, Complimentary tea, coffee and water available throughout the Fair and cafes for purchasing snacks, as well as registration and information counters at both venues, and a complimentary Childrens Activity Centre at the Graham centre, the new dual location event went off with few teething problems. Did you attend this trade fair?. What did you think of the dual locations? Retailers did you enjoy the experience? Did you find new and interesting products?”
